What are your hours?

Sin's shop is open Monday - Friday 7am-4pm, Saturday 10am-4pm. If you need to schedule a custom cake tasting please call us for an appointment.

Do you have premade desserts I can come in and buy at your store?

Yes, we offer a limited selection of our desserts in our retail store. Should you have a specific need or craving we would love to make the perfect dessert for you just Contact Us and we can get the process started.

How far in advance do I need to place a custom order?

The earlier you book the more likely we can fill your order especially during the summmer wedding season. We recommend 6 months in advance for weddings, 10 days for specialty cakes (tilted, carved, etc.), and 48 hours for small simple cakes.

Do you offer tastings?

We offer free tastings for wedding cakes. Generally we are available for tastings Tuesday thru Thursday 10am-3pm and most Saturdays 10am-4pm.

The easiest way to set up a tasting is to go to the Wedding and Special Event Cake Menu on the website and pick a few flavors and fillings that you’re interested in trying. You can setup a tasting right from the cake menu (or right here) Fill out your flavors and a few dates and times that work with your schedule. We’ll get back to you with the time that we are available and send a confirmation e-mail with your date, time and flavors.

How do I get there?

From 195

Go to the end of 195 and take 95 South, and then follow the directions below.

From 95 North or South

Take exit 18, Thurbers Avenue, and follow the exit down the hill to the stop light.
At the stop light (There will be Amazing Superstore on your left and a Honey Dew donuts across the street) take a left onto Allens Avenue.
Follow Allens Avenue approximately 1 mile to the next stop light at the corner of Allens Avenue and Public Street. Take a right down Public Street towards the water.
A large black iron fence surrounds our parking lot, the entrance is at the end of the fence across from the tire building.
My studio is in the first brick building, on the first floor behind the art gallery. My entrance is entrance #2 behind the mail boxes.

What are your prices?

Due to the customized nature of our cakes, the prices vary according to what your cake will look like.

Weddings:

Wedding cake prices start at $4 a slice and go up .50 per slice with a filling and .50 per slice with fondant.
Wedding cupcakes start at $3 and go up depending on size, filling and decoration.
Fake cakes start at $150 with a real top layer and sheet cakes are $3 per slice, $3.25 with filling.

Birthday/Anniversary/Baby Shower/Groom’s cakes etc.

Smaller custom baby cakes, birthday cakes, anniversary cakes and groom’s cakes are priced according to size and decoration but here are a few examples:

Basic Buttercream with a simple design like dots, scrollwork, and writing start at $25 (6") to $80 (12")
Basic Fondant cakes start at $40 (6") cake to $125 (12") cake
Carved sheet cakes start at $125
Cars and Boats start at $400
The millenium falcon is $250
Purses start at $175 and up
3-d carved cakes start at $5 per slice up to $12 per slice

What are your payment schedules?

For wedding cakes and other cakes that are over $100 we have you book your cake by placing a deposit of 50% down. For smaller cakes you can pay when the cake is picked up.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes.

Do you deliver?

We deliver to all of Rhode Island, south eastern Mass, areas up to Boston and some other areas upon request. Delivery charges depend on the distance and size of cake and run from $25 and up.

Can I pick up my cake to save on delivery fees?

We encourage pickup of smaller one-tier and two tier cakes. Wedding cakes typically require special care and setup so we prefer to deliver.
